The Research Center of Sports Industry and Physical Activity & Health is a sports academic research group with a global perspective which was formally established in December 2016. Based on the frontiers of sports disciplines and by integrating academic and social resources, and bringing together academic talents and producing high-level research results, the Center aims to meet the development needs of sports and related fields in the new era, and promote the implementation of “Healthy China” National Development Strategy and national development strategy of sports industry, and advance the intersection of sports humanities and social sciences, kinesiology and other sports disciplines. There are 10 members in the Center and its research directions are Sports Industry, Fitness and Health Promotion, and Intelligent Sports Theory and Technology.
